- Lightweight Underwrap - Pre Wrap is made from a super lightweight foam that is featherlight on the skin yet strong enough to be applied under tension. The thin, breathable fabric creates a comfortable barrier between your skin and sports tape.
- Pre Wrap Features - Our sports pre wrap is made from a lightweight foam bandage. It's porous and water-repellent, so isn't going to be affected if you're playing in the rain. The soft foam underwrap is easy to use, very mild on the skin and does not absorb moisture.
- How to Use: First, a muscle or joint is wrapped with Underwrap pre-tape. Next, athletic strapping tape is applied over the tape. The benefit of this is that it protects the skin, making removal simple and painless.
- Football Tape: In football, our pre-tape is typically worn around the ankle, just below the ankle strapping made of zinc oxide tape. It saves your physiotherapist from having to apply strapping against your skin. It can also be used as a shin guard tape to secure shin pads.
- When to use: Underwrap sports tape is best used anytime strapping tape is needed but direct skin contact needs to be avoided. This is because the area is too hairy to tape, allergies, the player's preference, or comfort.
